Skill Set:

• Expertise in Power BI, DAX queries, and Power Query Editor

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, tabular and multidimensional models

Job Description:
Hitachi Energy is hiring Power BI Analysts for its Indian Operations Center (INOPC) in Chennai. As part of the PGTR Quality & Operations Team, selected candidates will work on business intelligence, data analytics, and performance reporting using Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing interactive dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards using Power BI
• Integrating and transforming data from various sources to create insightful reports
• Applying advanced DAX functions and calculations for business intelligence
• Ensuring data security by implementing Row Level Security (RLS)
• Maintaining reporting portals on SharePoint & MS Teams
• Supporting data cleansing, quality enhancement, and analytics automation
• Training stakeholders on using Power BI reports and dashboards
• Collaborating with global teams across different time zones

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, including SAP/S4 HANA, SQL, and Azure.
• Utilize DAX queries and Power Query Editor to create advanced calculations and data models.
• Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and ensure data security within Power BI.
• Collaborate with global teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven insights.
• Support data cleansing and quality enhancement for accurate reporting.
• Maintain and update SharePoint and MS Teams reporting portals.
• Train stakeholders on using Power BI tools and analytics dashboards.
• Stay updated with BI trends, automation tools, and AI-based analytics to enhance reporting.
• Work across different time zones and support cross-functional teams.
